This year we decided to get Seaworld passes instead of ones to Disneyland because we didn't want the kids to lose the excitement and thrill of going to the magical kingdom. And Seaworld was doing a great deal! There have been several changes and revamps to Seaworld since we last had passes there (2005) and the kids LOVE it! We were especially excited that Mark had the day off and could enjoy the day at Seaworld with us all.
We've adopted a new member into the family...or at least this sealion hopes! He sat there next to blake for a good five minutes while I took about 20 pictures of him and Blake. It was hilarious:)
And Blake took a charlie horse to the thigh, compliments of the non-cooperative Chase. Hey, Maybe I WILL take the Sealion, at least HE behaves for family portraits!
We saw the show "Pet's Rule" and all 3 children were glued to the stage. They were so entertained by all the dogs, cats, pigs, ducks and animals in the show. They really love animals and Chase kept clapping for them after each trick...well, slightly after the trick was over and they were on to the next one...but hey! Who cares if it was a delayed applause, it was still cute:)And after the show the trainers let the audience come down and meet the animals and pet them. We were there forever!
Waiting their turn...
The pig. We kept trying to get one of the kids to pet the pig as it walked by, but they wouldn't.
Finally Brielle did! She is always so brave:)

Chase saw Elmo and "Abby" (I know its Zoe, but he calls her abby, ok?) come out to takes pictures and he was so excited! He usually is terrified of costumed figures but he wanted to run right into their arms! Of course, when we go to take the picture he shys away and will only let me hold him, but he couldnt stop high-fiving Elmo! And Brielle could barely even give Santa a high five this last year at Christmas, so we were quite impressed with her letting "Abby" throw her furry arms all over her.

We were able to get really close to the dolphins at Rocky Point Preserve, where all the dolphins are currently being kept while they finish building the new dolphin stadium. Mark and the kids got to pet the dolphins!

Chase kept saying, "Mon daw-fins! mon here!" (Translation: Come on Dolphins! Come here!) And the dolphin just kept swimming up to Chase over and over again and Chase would say, "hi." It was so cute.

At the new Bay of Play (for us old timers, it was formerly known as 'Kaptain Kids World') Where the play area has a Sesame Street water theme, Chase found the fountain that periodically squirts water up from the different holes. He was mesmorized! He stayed and played there for a long time, going from one hole to the next, waiting for the water to shoot up, sometimes stomping his foot over the hole to cover the water, and sometimes getting the water straight to the eye! To which, he would laugh, and then go right back to doing it again. We thought he'd run away after getting splashed once, but he loved it:)

We saw the Rocked out Shamu Night show, where the kids jammed to electric guitars and laughed at all the fools in the Splash zone. Played with the bat rays where one unnamed older brother FINALLY touched the rays, even though his little sister had a dozen times before already. And saw a cute Elmo 4-D Show.
Thanks, Seaworld! We will be visiting you many-a-time this summer:)

Oh that makes me miss Sea World! We used to spend almost every Saturday there. We still shout out "That song's from Pets Rule!" when one comes on the radio. Do they still do Sea Lions Tonight? We used to laugh so hard in that show. We're definitely going to have to plan a vacation.
The zoo and now sea world. Those lucky, lucky kids. Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun!
You can watch episodes of Glee (and other shows) on hulu.com!
We went right after Christmas, and it was cold! The night time Christmas show (that actually used the words "Christmas," "Lord," and "Savior") was great. We sat in the splash zone because the stadium was so crowded, but we didn't get wet, and we had awesome seats. Who's laughing now??? I like how the kids loved all the little animals coming up to them, esp. Chase talking to the dolphins. Paige used to call them "Golphins." Kids are cute!
Hey Heather.. I don't mind at all if you ck my blog out. I saw your kids with your parents at church the last time I was visiting Courtney Bickomore. They are so dang cute and getting so big. My mom was with me and couldn't believe how time flys. I will put your blog on my friends list if you don't mind. It is fun to keep track of friends and the famiy's. Sea world is one of our favs when we are in San Diego.
